EBOO Therapy

EBOO Therapy: What to Know Before Your First Session

EBOO is an extracorporeal procedure performed through a closed circuit under medical supervision. Before any session, a physician needs to understand your health history and decide whether the procedure is appropriate for you.

Before you arrive

The Care Team may ask for recent medical records, test results and a current list of medicines and supplements. Share this information fully, including allergies, previous procedures and any recent changes in your health.

  • Follow only the preparation instructions confirmed for you.
  • Do not stop prescribed medicine unless your treating physician advises it.
  • Tell the clinic promptly if you become unwell before the visit.

Consultation and assessment

Your consultation is the point at which goals, medical history and potential risks are reviewed. Additional testing may be discussed when it is relevant to individual suitability. A consultation does not automatically mean that treatment will proceed.

During the session

EBOO uses medical equipment to circulate blood outside the body through a sterile closed system before it is returned. The clinical team monitors the patient and equipment throughout. Session length can vary; LINNA commonly advises allowing about one hour for the procedure itself, plus time for preparation and review.

Aftercare and follow-up

Your clinician will provide individual aftercare guidance and explain which symptoms should be reported. Plans for any further visit should be based on your clinical response and physician review rather than a preset assumption.

  • Allow time to rest after the appointment.
  • Follow the hydration and activity advice provided by your clinician.
  • Contact the clinic if you have concerns after leaving.

Keep expectations realistic

EBOO should not be viewed as a substitute for established medical care. Evidence and appropriate use vary by clinical context. Individual responses vary, and no outcome is guaranteed.
